Exchange conditions:

Do you plan to exchange a larger sum? Don't forget to bring your ID or another personal identification document i.e. passport. For exchanges exceeding 1000 EUR you are legally obliged to prove your identity.

The client can withdraw from the foreign exchange trade contract within 3 hours of its finalisation, in the branch where the trade was transacted. The withdrawal must apply to the entire extent of the contract. If the amount presented by the client exceeds 1000 EUR, the withdrawal applies to the extent to which the sum corresponds to the sum of 1000 EUR paid by the client. The withdrawal period applies only during working hours stated on the final receipt. Full information about client’s rights will always be provided on the final receipt or on website of Czech National Bank.

Honest Prague exchange. We have been with you here for 15 years.

Our family business XChange Grossmann s. r. o. is among the oldest exchange offices in Prague. Since we started our enterprise, almost 15 years have passed. In this time we have serviced more than a million clients. We provide our services to companies with larger volumes of currency, but also to families with kids needing to exchange their holiday money before traveling abroad.

That we are fair to all our customers is supported by the fact that we haven't had the need to solve a single complaint in regards to currency exchange, employee attitude or not providing necessary exchange documentation.

In the whole of our 15 year history we have not needed to solve a single complaint regarding currency exchange.

For many years we had resided in Jiří Grossmann arcade, hence our company's name XChange G R O S S M A N N. We have kept the name even after our move to our new location in Krakovská street so as to not confuse our loyal customers.

Our old Locale is unfortunately closed for good. We have nonetheless found our new place which is once again located conveniently within a close distance from the Wencelslas square. Since November 2015 you can find us on our new address Krakovská street. When coming to us, be aware not to use one of the exchange offices in Wencelslas square. You could find yourself receiving up to ten Czech crowns less per Euro than the actual rate!

You will always receive a conformation of exchange and required bookkeeping documents.
